Neo and Cobb are basically the same character. Despite Cobb being ‘all-knowing’ about inception at the beginning of the movie versus Neo having no knowlege of what the Matrix is, they end up both rewriting ‘the rules’ of their imaginary worlds. Just taking a glance at them starts me up.
They have sweet greased up hair, knowledge of how to use almost any firearm, both question what reality is, and both are looked upon by their colleagues as ‘the best’.

I am actually under the impression that Cobb is actually a turtle having a dream about being Cobb entering dreams to ince… yeah I will stop there, the layers of dreams in inception will literally drive you nuts. Like if each ‘dreamer’ has to create the dream (i.e. dream up the landscape) why is the bottom state limbo shared, and was apparently Cobb’s little party palace for like 50 years.

In the Matrix, when some people find out what is real and not real they choose The Matrix over reality. Neo of course chooses to get out of the matrix and stepped into reality out of his little bubble. He finds out that people have become sweet double A batteries.

Basically no one is concerned with what is real, they just want to have a good time. I don’t blame them, if I had the choice of having to actually work hard or do whatever the hell I wanted, that is an easy choice. Life without consequences? Dude, don’t tell me that someone would dream crazy bad stuff like they were Hitler, or Stalin. Some crazy assholes are into that stuff. Personally, I would be a Columbian drug lord, with 25 concubines. That or fly around as a giant cuddly dragon.

Are we not allowed to have a hot blond babe in a sci-fi movie? I mean come on people, I am trying to think of a sci-fi movie that has a really hot babe. The Matrix’s Trinity is particularly bad, she just looks like someone’s mom. I don’t want to look at that for 2 hours. Marion is definably more hot, but its like comparing a Yugo to a VW Beetle. Come on Christopher Nolan, why can’t you choose a hot babe for your movie? Why did you follow the mantra of sci-fi movie makers and put an ugly person for your female lead? Well I think most sci-fi guys will probably disgree with me, because somehow Ellen Ripley made the top 75 list. You have got to be fucking kidding me. In my book there is a clear winner for sci-fi hotty. Princess Leia, in her slave bikini, Star Wars Episode VI. It is so popular that there is a website dedicated to it.

There you have it, Inception is an obvious rip off of ‘The Matrix’ but I guess the Matrix was a ripoff of Ghost in a Shell. Whatever, Nolan is good at remaking stuff a lot better than the original person ever did.
